The generosity of
Partying-With-A-Purpose-Parrot-Heads seems at time limitless. Time,
blood, sweat and money are all vitally important to causes nationwide. And yet annually the Parrot Heads converge on Key West to
help our local charities, and they are rightly praised for it.
Margaritaville is proud to be associated with Parrot Heads In
Paradise, not only for this November but for the last 18 years, and we
know that there are many other businesses and organizations in Key West who are thankful as well.
The economic climate being what it is,
we've decided this year to spread your kindness around. Rather than
specify 1 or 2 organizations to benefit from the Class Clown
Competition, we've selected several. We hope that you agree with our
choices.
|
We're an
organization that listens when no one listens and provides
hope when all hope seems to be lost. Our job is to help
children and their families get back on track because everyone
deserves the chance to shine. |

WomanKind provides
gynecological and primary health care and mental health
counseling to the women of the Lower Keys. Through the
generous support of the community, we are able to provide
sensitive, quality health care to all women, regardless of
their financial means. WomanKind’s free teen clinic offers a
gentle transition for girls entering womanhood, and boasts a
pregnancy rate among its teen patients of less than either the
county or the state. |

The mission of
Heron-Peacock Supported Living is to provide housing, support,
transportation, and supervision of medications for low-income
people who have a current diagnosis of mental illness, in
order to maximize individual self-dependence, health and
well-being, and community integration. |
